The Gay Girls of Gloucestershire meet on the first Tuesday of every month at two venues in Gloucestershire. These venues are:
The Swan - 37 High Street, Cheltenham GL50 1DX **
The Westgate - 56 Westgate Street, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, GL1 2NF
The next meet & greet night is: Tuesday 6th March 2012 at The Swan from 8pm onwards.
There will be a raffle and update of future events.

February Meet & Greet
| GGG Meet & GreetThe second of our meet & greets in 2012. We will be meeting at The Westgate
in Gloucester from 7:30pm. The Meet and Greet events are ideal for newcomers and regulars as the whole idea is for people to chat informally and get to know eachother in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We will be holding a raffle in aid of Team Hearts Himalayan Challenge that one of our members is taking part in to raise money for Childrens hospices in the UK. LGBT History Month
| Gay History MonthThe Westgate are hosting this years LGBT Gay History Month from the 5th - 17th Feb. There will be information on and reports from all interested groups and
organisations attending, including GayGlos, GGLC, GGG. Mingle, Pride, Gloucestershire College and an update from the county’s Transgender Community. On the 15th there is a Networking Supper that is open to all which will also include the showing of a County Council sponsored DVD made in collaboration with GGLC which is to be placed within Gloucestershire Archives. This will be held from 7pm at The Westgate. |
Mingle with the Singles
| Mingles with the SinglesCalling all you single ladies..... ok Valentines Day can be a bit of a drag when you havent got that special person to celebrate it with, but rather than commiserate or ignore it at home, come celebrate with your fellow single GGG chums!
One of our members has kindly offered their home for the night, so the address will only be provided to those who are definitely coming but the location is in Gloucester. Please bring your own booze and a plate of nibbles and lets have a giggle and a bit of a boogie and celebrate in our own way! GGG do WomenZone Surf Camp
| GGG do WomenZone Surf Camp6th - 8th July 2012
Every year there is a Lesbian Surf Camp in the Gower and a few GGG members have been going for several years now, so we thought it would be good to put this up as event to see if any others would like to come along as well. "WomenZone Surf Camp - the biggest lesbian event ...in South Wales - surf, sand, sea, tents, bonfire, women.... " There is a group page for the WomenZone Surf Camp which will have more details as they are announced: https://www.facebook.com/groups/121197327961441/ and the campsite website is: http://www.hillendcamping.com/ You dont need to surf to take part, some people dont go in the sea at all, body boarding and surfing, swimming are all part of the fun if you fancy a go. Tickets are to go on sale in a few months but go quickly! |
